Gari as she is popularly known, she is a rare breed of creative leaders who are fully invested In the agency product from creative strategy and big idea right down to its flawless execution. Her strength lies in finding and ensuring a strategic tie in to the creative expression to address a brand problem. Effortlessly but meticulously blending style and substance on brand work.

Her experience spans across large as well as start up Indian brands alongwith global brands. Having started her career at Ogilvy India, Gari has in her 23 year career, diverse work experience across agencies in Delhi, Mumbai and Prague where she served as part of the core team at Leagas Delancy for Skoda. Her longest stint has been of 13 years at MLLG, starting in 2009 at Lowe Lintas, where aside from working for the biggest national brands, she also had the opportunity to create work for presence in South American, European, African and South Asian markets. In 2015, she was hand picked to be part of the founding team at Mullen Lintas, MLLG's re launch of their second full service agency, spearheading work as ECD that built a solid reputation within a short span of time, this marked the agency’s debut at number 7 on Brand Equity’s agency reckoner in its very second year.

In 2019 she was promoted to Chief Creative Officer, where she continued to groom the agency consistently creating high impact work with a very talented but lean team, the company also grew businesses across categories – FMCG, Personal Care, Entertainment, Automobile, BFSI and E-Commerce. Some of the brands she has worked on include Too Yumm, Motilal Oswal, Bajaj Avenger, Havells, Aczonobel Dulux, GRT, Future Generalli, SBI Life, Suzlon, Tata Tea, Axe, Liva, Pharmeasy and Tata Ciq.

Gari has been a big winner on both the Indian and the global stage, picking up metals for both creativity and effectiveness – Cannes and Effies. She is a respected voice on various panels & forums, and has repeatedly represented Indian on Global Juries including D&AD, Gerety, Spikes. She served on the Cannes Lions Jury for Film in 2019 and more recently for Direct in 2023.

Her creative ambition for MadamG, is to drive work that is bold, authentic and ambitious, work that is unmissable.
